The Senior Associate of Bookkeping & Statutory Accounting Services Regional (LATAM) will be in responsible to supervise the accounting, of assigned Clients, to guarantee the compliance with accounting regulations in the countries in charge.

Main objectives:

• Review the accounting information prepared by the associates (preparers) to guarantee the reasonableness of financial information on cut-off dates established, in such a way that they are aligned with reports to be delivered and with the chance.
• Identify issues that need to be communicated to client management in order for them to take actions and avoid future contingencies in the breach of any accounting issue.
• Apply KPMG processes and standards to all jobs, use of Sentinel, and the manual of procedures applicable to the area to guarantee the reliability of the deliverables.
• Establish jointly with the Supervisor and Manager, the coordinator and with the people assigned by the client the schedule of activities of the accounting cycle to ensure compliance with the contractual agreements.

Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3-4 years work experience in Bookkeping and Statutory Financial Statements in Latin American countries (prefer in Big 4, or delivery centers).
• Strong written and spoken Spanish and English language.
• Knowledge in IFRS, USGAAP is desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, MS Office.
• Knowledge in Navision, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle.
• Experience juggling multiple priorities while taking a proactive approach and maintaining a strong attention to detail
