We are looking for a technology lead with background in strategy development and business improvement. New businesses, technologies, and innovation. Global Bookkeeping and statutory financials background to be part of our Global KDN leadership team.

We are looking for someone that oversees and guides technical teams, ensuring effective project delivery and aligning technology strategies with business goals. Responsibilities may include project management, team leadership, technology innovation, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive organizational success. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision are key for this role.

He/She in this strategic role will work with Global IT leadership to develop the overall strategy for LATAM bookkeeping and statutory accounting technology. The Technology lead will have overall responsibility for the execution of the bookkeeping and statutory accounting technology strategy for the region as well as integration with other regions for the same services and other services within the region. It will be a key player in developing and implementing best in class technology.

Requisitos

  • Global bookkeeping and statutory accounting technical knowledge of local country.
  • Excellent people leader skills with 10+ years leadership experience. Proven ability to build up a new team and develop team members.
  • Experience in leading technical programs/projects in a high-matrixed environment and in a globally dispersed team model.
  • Self-starter and able to take initiative in leading/driving programs with global stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how ERP systems are set up for legal entity and consolidated accounts
  • Multi-country bookkeeping and statutory accounting standardization efforts
  • Knowledge of technology solutions, including third party solutions, that enable bookkeeping and statutory accounting
  • 15+ years in big 4, or big MNCs or advisory firms in similar role, prior statutory audit background an advantage
  • Experience of working in a Global, multicultural environment delivering for multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external clients (other KPMG offices and Client Stakeholders) and to communicate with impact. Ability to explain complex issues to different stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills, fluent English and Spanish (excellent oral and written communication skills), Portuguese is a plus
  • Understanding of global service delivery models and leading delivery center transformation with significant change management experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to identify potential problems and issues and articulate them clearly to clients
  • Curiosity and passion to find solutions to client’s needs
  • Experience juggling multiple priorities while taking a proactive approach and maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to establish a “customer service” culture
  • Ability to provide regular reports to executive stakeholders depicting progress, impediments, milestones, etc. to keep them abreast of on-going progress on various programs/projects.
  • Proficiency in IT, Agile DevOps, Cybersecurity, Cloud, AI, digital transformation, Dynamics 365, Alteryx, SAP Scripting, RPA, KNIME, Alteryx and others.
